The Manson Chamber of Commerce developed the Manson Mingle to give local business owners and community leaders a venue where they could gather at a tranquil and friendly event and get to know each other, share information and develop comradery, the spirit of loyalty and friendship shared among a group. The October Manson Mingle held at Wapato Point Cellars on October 18 verified the vision of the Mingle a success with over thirty people in attendance.
Karen Lombard, Marketing and Community Liaison and Adam Bremmeyer, Tasting Bar Sales Manager at Wapato Point Cellars were our host for the night, they went out of their way to make the night special…..thank you!!!
Guest started arriving at 6:00 and Mariah Pyle, Tasting Room Manager at Four Lakes Winery took on duties at the check in table. Soon everyone had a name tag, a glass of Wapato Point Cellars wine and conversations were underway.
Adam Bremmeyer was excited to talk about Wapato Point Cellars and their new full-bar. He highlighted the appetizer menu at the restaurant by providing us all of their five appetizers on the menu. These included:
Teriyaki Steak Medallions Lake Chelan Artisan Cheese Plate Sautéed Mushrooms Fire Prawns Smoked Gouda BBQ Chicken Quesadilla
We were all impressed with these amazing delights and highly recommend them at your next visit to Wapato Point Cellars. Adam told me the appetizers will change throughout the year so check the menu.
Chamber Board President Judy Dai talked about "A Night to Remember", an evening where people were honored for helping Manson be the amazing place it is. The "Village of Lights" starting in late November and running through the Christmas holidays and in January 2018 "Winterfest" a two weekend event shared by Chelan and Manson. Judy also let everyone know there are two Manson Chamber Board positions open this year.
Pastor Craig Rayment from North Shore Bible Church reminded everyone of the "Trunk "N" Treat event scheduled for October 31. Bring your decorated car and candy to the North Shore parking lot and help provide a safe place for the kids in our community to enjoy the fun of Halloween.
The October Manson Mingle goes in the history books as a huge success and I thank everyone that attended. The November Manson Mingle will take place on Wednesday - November 15 at Ancestry Cellars in downtown Manson.
