North Shore Bible Church was founded by five couples from Manson in 1979. At the time of NSBC's founding, a young seminary student named Craig Rayment was living in Tacoma and found out through a friend that NSBC was looking for a Pastor. In 1980, Craig served as an intern at NSBC during his summer break from seminary and after graduation in the spring of 1981, Craig became NSBC's Pastor Craig Rayment, a position he has held for 37 years.

North Shore held services in the Manson Grange Hall until 1987 when they completed their current building located at 123 Wapato Point Parkway, near the entrance to Wapato Point. Then in 1996 Sowers Hall and several classrooms were built bringing the square foot total to 30,000.

After 30 years in operation, improvements to the NSBC building have deservedly been underway for a year and a half starting with a new roof. The completion of this project was followed by a remodel of NSBC's entry and main sanctuary. Hardwood flooring has now replaced the carpets in the entrance and hallways, the carpet of thirty plus years has been replaced in the main sanctuary, over 200 new chairs have been purchased and added to NSBC's offered seating, the stage has been rebuilt in the main sanctuary and new and improved lighting has been installed. Everything has been given a fresh coat of paint to complete NSBC's "New Look."
A new look for the entry
Another New Look that Pastor Craig and his staff are excited about is TNT (Thursday Night Together). Pastor Craig said, "We are proud to present TNT, a new church service that will meet Thursday evenings at 7:05 pm starting June 22nd. For those who have difficulty fitting our Sunday 9:30 am morning service into their schedule, this service for YOU! A simple meal will be provided at 6:30 to give folks a chance to fellowship and get acquainted prior to the service, which will include the same message given on Sunday."

In March of this year, Youth and Worship Pastor Efren Alejo, with the assistance of Church Secretary/Youth and Worship Assistant Whitney Pittman, started a new ministry called Kingdom Worship Night (KWN). No matter what race, gender, age, or denomination, all are welcome to worship together. These events are bilingual and typically last around 2 hours and take place in different churches in Eastern Washington.

Although North Shore Bible Church has been through many changes over the past nearly four decades, it has always stayed very involved in the Lake Chelan community by reaching out with numerous events. These events include;
- Senior Meals, which NSBC hosts every Friday at 12:00 pm.
- NSBC hosts the Red Cross Blood Drive, which is coming up on June 21st at 1:00 pm.
- Volunteers from NSBC offer English as a Second Language (ESL) every Thursday evening at 6 pm during the school months.
- Annual fun events for the community include the Red Dinner in February, Soaring into Spring in April, Waterpalooza in July, and Trunk-Or-Treat in October.
- In December, NSBC hosts the Manger Mall that provides Christmas gifts for youth from struggling families.
- NSBC also supports Young Life, a great program for our youth in the Lake Chelan Valley.
- On May 30th and June 1st at 6 pm NSBC will be hosting Manson High School's Senior Presentations.
NSBC also stays available for its building space to be rented for special events.
Another "New Look" that NSBC is proud to present is the addition of Kid Haven. Kid Haven is a licensed childcare provider focused on enriching the learning and play of your child while maintaining a safe, happy and clean environment. Childcare is provided Monday-Friday at NSBC with drop-ins welcome.
