She shared the story of how Tildio came to be. Milum and Katy Perry, owners of Tildio Winery met while riding a chairlift at Stevens Pass Ski Resort in 2001. They started planting Tildio’s vineyard in the spring of 2002 and after three years of tending to vines together and getting married they embarked on building the winery at the vineyard site and opened the tasting room in the spring of 2005.

Tildio has 10 acres of vineyards that produce five of their estate wines. In all they make 17 different wines and produce between 2,500 and 3,000 cases per year. They have an active wine club with 350 members.
This is Mya’s fourth year in the wine business and she never tires of her view of Roses Lake from her office. “It’s a wonderful place for our customer to sit, sip and watch the lake go by", Mya said. She retired from the Forest Service after a 25-year career and has lived in the Chelan Valley for 20 years.
Mya let us know about two upcoming events this month. May 19 and 20 Tildio is one of several wineries participating in an event where you can taste future releases straight from the Barrel. Tildio will feature their Malbec and Port. Then on May 27 they will hold a wine club event that starts at 6:00. Contact Mya for more information – 509-687-8463.
Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 12 – 5 – Saturday and Sunday 12 – 6.
We thank Tildio Winery for making the decision to join the Manson Chamber of Commerce and we wish them much success.
